Welcome to Centennial Middle School!
Centennial Middle School has earned a reputation of being a safe and successful destination school which provides rigorous learning opportunities, extended-day programming, and social and emotional support. Centennial Middle School strives to build successful relationships with students and community members and the broader community as well.
Centennial Middle School provides a first-rate education to the over 1,500 students in 6th, 7th and 8th grades who come from all five Centennial elementary schools and numerous schools in neighboring districts. We have earned our reputation as a safe and successful school through the hard work and commitment of staff, students, parents, and the wider community.
The compass on the terrazzo floor in our main entryway reminds us each day that our goal is to provide students with the tools necessary to explore education and life. We work very closely with parents and community members to give students the foundation they need to meet life’s challenges. Our robust academic program, combined with enhanced choices for students, make us highly competitive with neighboring districts. Our high-caliber staff meets the expectations of high-achieving students through a deep commitment to personal relationships.

Welcome
To ensure students are supported as they move to the middle school, students new to the building are given a tour and paired up with a student buddy to help with the first days. Fifth grade students visit with their teachers to help them prepare, and the first day of school in the fall is for incoming sixth grade students only.
